Primary Tasks

  • Care coordination (including arranging a holistic supporter)

  • Engage in meaningful conversations:

    • Looking at photo albums

    • Sharing memories

    • Holding space for meaning making

    • Go Wish Cards or the Death Deck

  • Help client’s complete tasks like advance directives

  • Providing respite - being a “protective presence” (special considerations- the care tasks involved and liability concerns of being alone with client)

  • Assisting with Legacy Projects

  • Dignity Interviews

  • Conducting Life Reviews

  • Vigil Planning/Sitting vigil

  • Assisting with memorial plans and wishes/obituary writing

  • MAID support and education

  • Small jobs within your comfort level: folding laundry, light cleaning

My name is Cara and I am Certified End Of Life Doula located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.  With over fifteen years of medical experience, and a lifetime of caring for people with special needs and the elderly, I have the compassion and understanding needed to walk this journey with you.

I have recieved my training and certification from the Univerity of Vermont
